This is a project I built because half the fathers I sit with are carrying something they have never been given the language for. That language is what this site is for.
I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Designation (LPCC-S) in Ohio, and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Maine. I work clinically with fathers, with men, and with children — and I have done that work long enough to see the same patterns again and again. This site is what I do with what I've learned.
This is a coaching and education project — not a clinical practice. The writing, the videos, the workbooks, and the coaching I offer here are all educational. They are designed to give a father language and structure for the work of being a different kind of dad than the one he was raised by, or the one he wishes he'd had. None of it is therapy.
If what you need is therapy, the free resources page will help you find a clinician licensed in your state. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), available 24/7 in the United States.
Father mental health. Generational patterns — the work of doing fatherhood differently than your own dad did. Anger and repair. Adolescent kids. The midlife identity shifts no one warns dads about. The first year of fatherhood and the depression and anxiety the culture pretends does not happen to fathers.
You will find my writing in the free resources section, my long-form content on YouTube, and shorter takes on Instagram and TikTok.
What you should expect from me: I do not diagnose anyone in comments, DMs, or emails. I do not pretend coaching is therapy — it is not, and saying otherwise would do you a disservice. If you are dealing with something that needs clinical treatment, I will say so plainly and help you find a clinician licensed where you live. And I will not pretend educational content is personal advice. Content is general by design.
If those are the rules you want a therapist-creator to operate by, this is the right place.
