Coaching for fathers

A structured program for dads doing it differently.

Twelve weeks of coaching designed for fathers who want a real plan, not just an intention. Education-based and forward-looking — available anywhere in the country.

What coaching is

A structured partnership focused on the patterns, skills, and conversations that make a different kind of fathering possible. Built on the GROW model — Goal, Reality, Options, Way Forward — and supplemented with research-grounded psychoeducation on attachment, regulation, and generational change.

What coaching is not

Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or psychological treatment. It does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, and it is not a substitute for clinical care or a crisis service. If what you need is therapy, the Free Resources page helps you find a clinician licensed in your state.

How it works

Three steps to start.

01

Book a free call

A no-pressure 20-minute video call so we can both decide whether coaching is the right fit for what you're working on. No paperwork, no commitment.

02

Sign the agreement

You receive the Coaching Agreement — what coaching is, what it isn't, fees, scheduling, the crisis protocol. If you sign, we book your first session.

03

Twelve weekly sessions

Fifty-minute video sessions, once a week for twelve weeks. Each session has a structure; each week between has small, specific work.

Who this is for

Fathers who are working on a specific, named thing — the way they handle anger, the inherited patterns from their own father, the work-and-home transition, the identity shifts of midlife or empty-nest, the repair conversations they need to have. Fathers who want structure, accountability, and a clinician's lens on the work — and who do not need clinical treatment to do it.

Who this is not for

If you are in acute crisis, struggling with active suicidal thoughts, working through severe trauma symptoms, dealing with addiction, or in a relationship that has become unsafe — coaching is not the right tool, and saying otherwise would be a disservice. The Free Resources page can help you find a clinician licensed in your state. If you are in crisis right now, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

A clear "who this is not for" is not a weakness. It is how a coaching practice stays ethical and safe — by referring the right people to the right help.

A note on what coaching is. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or psychological treatment. It does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, and it is not a substitute for clinical care or a crisis service. Following me on Instagram, downloading a resource, or commenting on a post does not create a coaching or counselor-client relationship. A coaching agreement is signed before any session is held. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, 24/7 in the US.
